Regency Blackened Seasoning is the ideal seasoning for making blackened fish, beef, pork, chicken. For those of you who may not know what is blackened meat, its an american southern favourite, with flavour notes very similar to Cajun Seasoning although entirely different. The Blackening happens from burning butter until charred while on the surface of the meat to create a crispy and smoky layer and release more flavours from the meat with that sweet butter at the same time.

Please note: We freshly grind and pack our Blackened Seasoning to order for maximum flavour. This signature recipe is our secret, so we cannot sell this blend in whole form.

Blackened Seasoning Cooking Notes

Cuisine... American

Food Pairings... Chicken, Fish, Pork, Beef, Lamb, Tacos

Flavour / Tastes Like... Paprika, Thyme, Garlic

Serving size... 5-10 grams

Directions for use... Mix with generous amount of melted butter to make your rub mixture. Dip your meat / fish and coat all sides thoroughly. Heat a cast iron skillet to maximum temperature, and drop in the meat to cook. Caution: There will be lots of smoke!
